- Back up to Google or a computer if the phone still works
- Know your Google account password, since factory reset protection can block a repair otherwise
- Remove any memory card and SIM if you want to keep them with you
- Take the case and screen protector off
- Tell us the model if you know it, and we will identify it if you do not

Questions about this repair

Yes. Pixel screens, batteries and charging ports are regular work here.
Often, yes. A phone stuck on the boot logo can be a software fault, a storage fault or a hardware fault, and those are three very different repairs. We diagnose which one it is before quoting.
Not as a rule. It depends far more on the specific model and the part than on the operating system. Folding phones are the exception, because the screens themselves are expensive.
We can assess it and tell you honestly what the chances are. The sooner it reaches us after the incident, and the less it has been powered on since, the better the odds. Do not put it in rice and do not keep trying to charge it.
