None of this is required, but each one makes the repair faster and safer for your data.
- Back up the phone if it still powers on
- Know your Apple ID or Google account password, since some repairs need the device unlocked
- Bring the charger with you if the problem is charging
- Take the case and screen protector off
- Write down anything unusual you noticed before it failed

No. Walk in during opening hours. Starting a repair online simply means we know what is coming and can be ready for it.
That depends on the fault and whether the part is in stock. A straight part replacement is quicker than anything involving liquid damage or a board level fault, which have to be tested properly. We give you a realistic time frame when we quote, once we know the fault and whether the part is in stock.
A screen or battery replacement does not touch your data. Software repairs and liquid damage are different, and we will always talk to you about it before we do anything that could affect what is on the phone.
Then we tell you that plainly, and we tell you why. We would rather lose a repair than take your money for something that will not hold.
