An independent, father-and-son repair shop on Main Street

How we got here
We opened this shop on Main Street in March 2014. Over the years it grew to three locations, one of them a franchise. When the pandemic hit, we made the call to close.
Every time we tried to lock the door, though, someone walked in with a phone or a computer that had stopped working and needed it back. So we kept this location open, and it is still run day to day by the same father-and-son team.
That is really the reason we are still here. For most people a phone or a computer is not optional, and when one breaks, the person holding it needs it working again, not eventually. We built the shop around that.
How we work
You can walk in and talk to the person who will do the work. Nobody here works from a script, and you will not be handed a number without an explanation of what it is for.
We diagnose before we quote and we quote before we work. If a repair is not worth doing, we will tell you that rather than take the job. It costs us a repair occasionally and it is still the right way to run a shop that depends on the same neighbourhood coming back. Every repair happens here, on-site — nothing is shipped out and back.
