An independent, father-and-son repair shop on Main Street
Tapeworm Repairs is an independent, father-and-son phone and computer repair shop on Main Street in College Park. Since 2014, we have helped our neighbors get the devices they rely on working again.
Our story, since 2014
We started on Main Street in March 2014. The business grew to three locations, including a franchise. Through that growth, repairing the phones and computers people depend on remained at the heart of the shop.
Our customers gave us a reason to keep going. When the pandemic hit, we planned to close. But every time we tried to lock the door, someone came in with a broken device and needed help. We kept this Main Street location open.
Today, the same father-and-son team runs the shop. For our customers, a phone or computer is part of everyday life. That is why we are still here: to offer a familiar face, a clear explanation, and a practical next step when something stops working.
A real shop. A familiar face.

How we work
Walk in and talk directly with the person who will do the repair. We assess the device, explain what we find in plain language, and give you a price before work begins.
If a repair is not worth doing, we will tell you. Every repair happens here, on-site. We want you to understand your options and feel comfortable with your decision.
What that means for you
- A price before any work starts
- Plain language, not part numbers
- An honest answer when a repair is not worth it
- Walk ins welcome during opening hours
- 90-day warranty on labor
- Most iPhone parts carry a lifetime warranty against defects (not cracks or accidental damage)
